The Health Department conducts household water and sewage disposal system inspections when requested.  Typically, water and sewage evaluations are requested by financial institutions during real estate transfers.  There is an application, along with a fee of $240.00, that needs to be submitted for a loan evaluation.  The loan evaluation consists of one bacteria water sample.

Occasionally, there are times when additional water sampling is required for a loan evaluation.  These are usually needed when the lending institution is either VA or FHA.  Additional fees are required for these samples.  When applying for the evaluation, you will need to let our office know if additional samples are needed.
